Hello,

Outlook.com lets you edit, add, delete and rename groups. This functionality is called "Manage Groups" and can be accessed from the "Manage" drop down menu in the header when on the People page.

Outlook.com also lets you add and remove people from a group.

  1. Visit the People page
  2. Select the contacts that you want to add to a group by clicking on the checkbox next to their name in the contact list
  3. The header shows an item called "Groups"
  4. Select the group you want to add this person to and click apply.

From this menu, you can also create a new group and manage groups.

Above the contact list and search box there is a contact list filter, which says "All".   If you click on this and select the group you want to see, then you will see all members of that group.

By clicking on the checkbox to the left of the members of the group, you will see the collection of contacts you want to take action on, listed on the right.

When you have finished selecting the ones you want to remove from the group, click on the Group menu option above and uncheck the groups you want to remove these people from.

If you wish, you can even add them to a different group at the same time.

When you have finished checking or unchecking the groups listed, then click on Apply.   This will update the chosen contacts as appropriate, and given a few minutes, the next time you view the group membership it will contain only those you kept.

    there is no "Group" option.

I have the same question as Dr JWR ................

How can I change/select the preferred email of a group member so that group emails go to the preferred email and not their second or third email address.
