Unable to delete contacts.

It seems that you can't delete your contacts. Let me assist you on this matter and rest assured that I will do my best to help you sort this out.

Please confirm if you're also having problem deleting your contacts from connected services.

Thank you for getting back to us. I understand that you are getting the message "You haven't added any accounts yet." when you try to manage your account.

"I went to import contacts from the preferred gmail account that had the correct contacts, but it quickly linked the contacts. I disconnected from gmail, but then could not delete the contacts from outlook.com"

It is possible that you are receiving the message  "You haven't added any accounts yet." because you already unlinked the said account so they are no longer conncted. Since you are still seeing your Google (Gmail) contacts in People page (Outlook.com), we will be asking you to provide the following information on the Private Message area I've created for you:

• Affected email address
• 3 contacts from the account (People page)
• Screenshot of the exact error message (if any)

Kindly click on "You have a private reply to this message" link just above your post to view the message. Note that you need to be signed in to the Microsoft Community to view the link.

Once you have provided the needed information, we will be able to have a deeper look on this. We look forward to working with you to resolve this issue.

I have the same problem But with Skype account I have unlink my Skype account with my outlook account but under my account settings on outlook it says connected to Skype.

Can't delete completely

Some of this contact's info comes from another service. You'll need to delete the contact there to keep it from showing up here.

If you've already disconnected from Skype but still see the contacts from it, please provide us the affected email address (your email address) and the email addresses that you're unable to remove in the private message area so we could check it on our end.

After stuggling with this iisue for so long and giving up at one point I may have stumbled onto something that may fix this issue for some individuals. It worked for me, but it ain't pretty! Just thought I would add my 2 cents to this thread anyway.

My original issue was... "I can't delete my people from outlook.com". 

My fix was..... 

I went to my contacts, sorry people, (stupid name change) and wrote them all down on a piece of paper. Then I deleted ALL of them. The I deleted all the links to outlook's-people, like facebook, gmail etc. ALL of them! Except skype and messenger remained and I could not delete them so I left them there. Then I went to my contacts in facebook, gmail, skype, messenger etc. and deleted ALL my contacts there as well. ALL OF THEM !!!     I deleted every contact from EVERY location I had ever been!!!   I was then totally UN-connected and dropped off the grid so to speak. I had to actually PHONE people and talk to them. How old school!! Then...and this was the hardest part.... I waited 45 days just to be sure they were not coming back. ALL my email went to my junk folder and I read and replied to them from there. I never went to my inbox the whole time because it was ALWAYS empty. (because I am set to exclusive).

What a pain.  45 days later.... I began manually adding my contacts back into people. I started with one contact (ME) and waited another 2 weeks to see if it would be okay and it was. Then manually added all the others from the paper list I created 2 months ago.  Now about 3 months since I started it seems okay. I never added the links to other accounts back in, I just left the default skype and messenger. HELLO MICROSOFT....you've gotta be kidding me right??? Get your **** together!
