I have 2 problems: The option to edit contacts on my Android phone is no longer listed as an option. I can only view the contacts. When I want to add new contact on my Android phone, I can only add to my Gmail account. Any work around for these problem? Wow. Contact Editor was the missing link. I was hoping getting a smartphone and linking with outlook would simplify my life. Silly me. As someone said earlier, is simple syncing my mail, contacts, calendar, and tasks too much to ask? Syncs works, but oh, "you want to edit that outlook contact on your phone? Well, that's something we didn't think about." Really?

MS‘s outlook.com app on android can not creat contacts ,I am disappointed to that. U said the method is worth a try,tks!

Point taken. But not everyone runs multiple calendars, and for those who don't, there's absolutely no reason to have the Outlook.com app and/or Contact Editor installed. They are unnecessary.

Now I can't edit contact and add new contact to outlook.com account on my Android phone.
