I have 2 problems: The option to edit contacts on my Android phone is no longer listed as an option. I can only view the contacts. When I want to add new contact on my Android phone, I can only add to my Gmail account. Any work around for these problem? I'm using Office 365 also and I have not experienced a problem. I sync calendar, tasks, and contacts with ActiveSync and sync mail with Outlook. I haven't tried syncing mail with ActiveSync because I don't really use Outlook email, but I know contacts, calendar, and tasks will update properly using ActiveSync and let you add/edit/delete directly from your phone. I did quite a bit of testing of this just a few weeks ago at most. It works great. (It would, of course, have been nice if mobile Outlook worked the same way "out of the box" -- this thread is how I learned to use ActiveSync.)

I found a solution by combining Outlook.com app and the the Exchange account type that comes with Jelly Bean. In fact, I would probably have used only the Exchange ActiveSync account but it doesn't support multiple Windows Live Calendars. The way I did it is to configure Outlook.com to sync only calendars, not contacts then I created the ActiveSync account and requested it to sync only Contacts and Tasks (not Calendar and Email). This way, I can modify / add contacts and (any) calendar events and I take my emails in Outlook.com app. Hope this can help. => yes, this is what I have been looking for for a long time ! many thanks !!
