Now I can't edit contact and add new contact to outlook.com account on my Android phone.

I have 2 problems:

  1. The option to edit contacts on my Android phone is no longer listed as an option. I can only view the contacts.
  2. When I want to add new contact on my Android phone, I can only add to my Gmail account.

Any work around for these problem? Apart from switching to WP/Apple.

Calendar it's ok. The problem is with Contacts. You can`t Add or Edit a Contact in your phone, and have it synchronized.

Y have already switched to a Google account.

My Outlook.com calendar syncs just fine with my Android device. How did you configure the account? Describe what you did step-by-step.

I've just switched from Iphone and may go back which is a damn shame.  I love the galaxy note 5 EXCEPT I CANT EDIT, SYNC OUTLOOK CALENDARS, SYNC CONTACTS IN OUTLOOK TO TEXT...

ALL ARE LIKE SEPARATE ENTITIES.  I'VE ABOUT HAD IT.. IF APPLE CAN DO IT, WHY CAN'T MICROSOFT?????

Microsoft is in the process of moving all Outlook.com accounts to the Office 365 backend, which is Exchange. It will still be free. It will have ads for those who use the web interface.

Interesting. But you have to pay for an Exchange account, right?
