I have 2 problems: The option to edit contacts on my Android phone is no longer listed as an option. I can only view the contacts. When I want to add new contact on my Android phone, I can only add to my Gmail account. Any work around for these problem? I use to think that the Exchange account trick, for syncing Hotmail contacts, was fine up until recently where I discovered that already existing contacts that I had edited did not sync... only newly created contacts will be synced with Hotmail / Outlook / Live. Bummer. Not sure what's going on, but this contact sync issue has droven me bunkers. Not quite sure what to do with it anymore. Getting the contacts onto the device is fine, but real 2-way syncing is just not happening.

Thanks for the reply Levi_I, I am using the Outlook.com app not the built in app on my Nexus 4. Love the way it works, but am a bit sad that in order to keep my emails in some kind of cohesive order on the phone, I do need to filter them into their own folder. I hate to go back to the built in or K9 since they fail to show the whole message like the Outlook app does. So its always a trade off.. lol I think the other apps let you set up an account in the app it self, where as in Outlook you need to forward to the Outlook address.. Might consider a small change in the future for the app.

Now I can't edit contact and add new contact to outlook.com account on my Android phone.
