In outlook.com I subscribed to my TripIt calendar feed. In outlook.com I went to Import > Subscribe, and entered the ical feed URL that I got from TripIt. The URL looks like this (redacted for privacy reasons): https://www.tripit.com/feed/ical/private/<<long id here>>/tripit.ics. The initial import worked perfectly and all the events from TripIt show as expected in my outlook.com calendar.
However, outlook.com has not tried to refresh the feed for two days now, and, consequently, changes are not shown in outlook.com. Now, other software in which I imported the exact same feed, e.g. the OS X calendar app and my Google calendar, do see the updates just fine. Only outlook.com does not refresh the feed, at least not in over 48 hours now.

I can only get the calender to somewhat refresh when i publish in MS Outlook 2010 Professional and set the permissions for anyone to view. When I publish with only invited users, it will not work even with my hotmail address shown in the sharing permissions. Outlook 2010 is set to for automatic uploads and per server's recommended frequency.
now what is interesting is that in Outlook 2010 you are given an option of number of days to publish before/after current date. i have both set at 90. it is currently using the middle date of July 4 2013 and going back/fwd 90 days. This was the day that i first published my calender. so i can't see anything in my outlook.com calendar beyond October 2 2013.

I am also having the same problem for months., and I am not even using a third party calendar. I am just using your very own Microsoft Outlook Professional Plus 2010.
Would be keen to see a resolution real soon.
It does seem quite absurd that Microsoft has still not yet resolved this. Like so many others I have a Tripit calendar feed. I subscribe to that feed in Outlook 2010, and on an iPad and both of those work perfectly. I also subscribe to the same feed via Windows Phone 8... And that one has not updated for many days, certainly far more than the claimed 24 to 48 hours. The Windows Phone issue is a strange one. For a start it seems mad that it cannot connect to the feed directly. Instead the feed has to be added in Windows Live / Outlook.com / whatever we're calling it this week. Then the Windows Live account has to be added to the phone. It's not the phone that doesn't work right, it's the "Live" account.... What exactly is live about something which by design only updates every one or two days? That's not live, that's late.
Here is a small suggestion: Get the "Live" developer team to speak to the Exchange developer team and ask how to do this.
