Hello,
I have a Macbook and want to use my Outlook.com account on iCal. I would like to use this as my primary calendar to add all events and invite attendees so that it is in the Outlook.com cloud. I cannot seem to add it using the Mac preferences. Please help.

Choose Exchange and when it asks Username its your email address. Then it asks Internal Server and External Server so those are both outlook.office365.com. Worked for me.
After a year? Am I getting a reply (which actually is consisted of further questions) after a year? And what is unclear when the title says that I cannot sync my ical to ask me with which device I am trying to connect?
I am sorry to say it, but this sounds quite a joke.

I know this was posted some time ago, but I was having a similar issue and fixed my problem. The solutions offered didn't fix my particular problem.
My icalendar would not connect with email address that my outlook was connected to, in my case (******@katemoorephotog.com a domain hosted elsewhere). What i found was that even though the @katemoorephotog.com was my office365/ microsoft everything sign in I actually had another email address that was created when I first created my outlook (@outlook.com) Once i used that email address with my regular password it all configured automatically.
I hope this helps! Also, if this works but you still don't see your events on all your calendars go into your outlook calendar settings and check to see where your calendar items are saving. They need to be saving to that primary outlook.com email address.
