How to change subscribed calendar refresh interval

A quick search will show you that this has been an issue for years.  I gave up long ago.   no one that has provided the requested information (including me, twice) has ever come back to post that the issue has been fixed.  It's never been clear to me whether the mods have been good hearted, just uninformed, or actually evil.

My guess is that MS has all their eggs in the Exchange basket.

Please. It's not due to the calendar source, we are dozens to have the same problem with standard-compliant .ics online feeds. Feeds that do update real-time, as a simple download can confirm when I simply open my .ics file in direct download.

On the other end, the cloud-based version keeps a copy of my subscribed calendar, as is proven by un-subscribing and subscribing again to it. As it doesn't refresh, I can deduce it is stored on live.com servers somehow, even though I am not informed of it, and even as it implies a "rebound" from the app that needs to "sync" (I think the term is misunderstood here, FYI sync implies information is expected to be up-to-date) with live.com, which in turn is expected to "sync" with the subscribed calendar.

Why on earth does the calendar APP not directly connect to the external calendars feeds ?

As (many?) others here I replied to your private messages with url to data feeds, even though the problem is clear enough for me to detect THIS IS A DESIGN FLAW and a breach to personal privacy (by storing my data stealthily) even with not one line of code involved on my part.

My question then rephrases itself : WHEN are you planning on taking user input seriously, and WHEN is this going to be fixed ?

• Sample events/entries that were not synching on your Calendar
• Calendar URL for your subscribed Calendar

I'm just curious, if you go through this thread, and the dozens of others on this same topic, has anyone ever had their problem solved by going through this exercise?  I know I didn't, but there must be someone out there to help convince us that going down this road is not a colossal waste of time....
