Thanks!

Could not agree more. I came across this issue early last week. It takes 2 to 3 days to sync. Makes a joke out of the whole process. The subscription works we can see it works it simply takes tôooooooo long. Sort it out, Please!!!!!!

Just to confirm this is a published calender from outlook 2010 being viewed in hot mail calender via URL subscription to the iCal.

    Not hard

I don't have an issue anymore.  I reverted to Google Calendar Sync.  Problem solved.  Solved unsatisfyingly, but solved.  Fortunately I had an established google sync account.  New users aren't so lucky.

I monitor these threads in the hope that MS will fix their subscribed calendar sync issue and that it will be communicated in one of these threads.  Then I can dump Google.

You don't need my, or anyone else's, accounts.  Be a hero.  Do it yourself.  Use Outlook 2010 to publish a calendar to the web (avoids any third party confusion).  Subscribe to it from outlook.com. Use any browser you want...doesn't matter.  Make a change in Outlook.  Watch it not update in outlook.com.  Go fix it.  Let us know its fixed.  The outlook.com community bursts out in joy.  Easy-peasy.

I'll reply publically as well as privately.

You asked for my e-mail account.

Why?  What will you do with the information?  You should know that I have lost all faith in the ability of this forum and its moderators to provide any support for this problem?  You want to know more about it?  Read the dozens of threads and hundreds of posts on this problem, including a number of threads linked to in this thread.
