How to change subscribed calendar refresh interval

This just gets funnier and funnier.  As quoted from the referenced link:

"When a calendar owner publishes an ICS file online, the online calendar is known as an iCal (or Internet calendar). Whenever the owner of an iCal that you're subscribed to makes changes to the events, Hotmail refreshes the data and automatically updates your calendar. Your calendar always shows these events in their own calendar, in the left pane under Calendars."

See the phrase in bold?  The problem everyone here is having is that the update, though it may be "automatic", takes 24-48 hours to occur.  Kindly fix the problem please?

Not one of the mods here has been able to understand this problem, and you have just mentioned a small fraction of the threads where this is discussed.   Microsoft should truly be embarassed by this level of customer care.

There's no setting to change the reshresh time of Hotmail/Outlook. It will depend on your browser. To improve your browser's performance, please optimize it and/or reset it to its default setting.

I don't believe that you understand the members problem. It has nothing to do with browser refresh but rather how often the Hotmail calendar refreshes subscribed calendars. 

There are numerous threads reporting this same problem and none with any helpful information.
