FACEBOOK CHAT NOT WORKING

Copying information from that page:

I did changed my password long time back (in May 2012) and since then my FB Chat is not working on Windows Phone 7.5 and Windows 8 Messaging App.

Please help me to resolve the same.

Things I've tried:

1. Remove FaceBook connection completely and adding it again
2. Double Checking that Friends are really "online"
3. Double Checking that "Chat with Facebook Friends" is checked in my profile for Facebook connection at https://profile.live.com/home/Services/Connect?appid=FB&biciid=managelist
4. Am using Messaging App on Windows 8 and it has got the same problem.
5. I even tried using mail.live.com and same issue is there also.

Adding more - I've Login Notifications enabled on my Facebook account. I hope that helps you to see more quickly in the issue.

To make sure that you have the correct settings on your account, I would like you to check your Facebook chat if it is set to enable. To do so, please refer to the steps below:

1. Login to your Outlook.com account
2. Click your name in the upper right part of your inbox page.
3. Select Available on > and choose On.

Hi everyone,

I would like to make a suggestion. Please try the steps provided below:

1. Login to out Hotmail account.
2. Navigate to your People page.
3. Click your name on the upper right corner of your screen, then make sure that Available is selected as well as "Available on" then Facebook chat" is set to "On".

It is also advisable to ask assistance of any of your friends to simulate a live chat via Facebook and Hotmail to verify that it is really not working.
