The only way to fix this is to reboot outlook. I end up doing this 10 time a day. Is there any fix?

I had the same issue w/ trying the script, but another forum thread has an easier method:

    http://community.office365.com/en-us/f/153/t/274711.aspx

Since I've done this the problem hasn't reoccurred, but I've had long periods of stability before, so we'll see how this goes...

Over two weeks since I made the change and I haven't had the issue pop up since (*knocks wood*). Granted, since then it's also been updated to 15.8 w/ the Office 365 preview but I'm gonna say I'm cured...at least until MS finds a new way to break it :)

It seems to remove the message about Sync pending, but does not seem to actually fix the issue of email being downloaded. Or not in my current build of Outlook.

Removing public folders from Outlook (15.8) has fixed the sync pending problem for us.

    Progress made,

I followed the lock file process described earlier but that alone made no difference.

So I went back and removed all links to other shared calendars, then went back to the lock on the file.

I had to remove the entire reference to the OWA address as well as the EWS/Exchange.asmx portions of the server addresses.  Ultimately the address line is https://servername.domain.com then locked the file in "get info".

the process of both portions somehow I got the instance of Outlook 365 to pull mail. it delivers about 5-10 minutes after my iPhone but I am getting the mail.

Still no shared calendar function which defeats the purpose of the instance of Outlook on the Mac.  The Mac Calendar works perfectly. Sad to be MS.

When did software become acceptable to kinda work?
