I have performed every suggestion in this thread to fix the exact same issue. INCLUDING ALL FULL DELETE OF PREVIOUS APPS, PLISTS AND ALL ASSOCIATED FILES - MICROSOFT TECH SUPPORT ASSISTED! DID NOT WORK!
Today I completed a total erase and clean install of my Macbook Pro, mid-2012 13", I7, 8GB Ram 750GB HD. I created and installed a new installation of EVERYTHING in this order:
Ran verify HD (perfect)
Erased HD
Installed Yosemite from USB
Ran UPDATES for MAC.
confirmed OS X Yosemite 10.10.1
ALL data files have been either downloaded from the cloud via sync or exchange server. I did NOT reuse any data previously on the mac.
installed all iCloud, iTunes items (Music takes priority)
Installed NEW Onedrive downloaded data from cloud
installed Evernote
installed Adobe CC Photoshop, Acrobat, DW, IL, ID
Installed Office for Mac 365 from office.com account
did NOT run any apps.
Installed Outlook for Mac v.15.6 from office web site
Ran Outlook to set up email.
All folder instantly populated
NO emails
hosted exchange version 14.2.318.2
confirmed with second exchange account from different host exchange provider (personal email) using version
14.3.174.1 I have all the same issues.
Outlook file size is 4.5gb of which only 1000 emails are in the inbox representing only a few dozen MB...
Outlook 2013 windows works on the mac via parallels and on two other PC's. (same accounts)
quit and restarted 3 times to get inbox to sync. Can not keep sync running for more than 5 minutes. Clean install is actually working WORSE than before.
STILL HAVE SAME ISSUES!
MY FEELINGS TOWARDS MICROSOFT ARE NOT THOSE WE SHARE WITHOUT HAVING A VISIT FROM THE POPO.
