The only way to fix this is to reboot outlook. I end up doing this 10 time a day. Is there any fix?

    Sorry to hear that.

All of my machines are working without any problems now. I have been looking for a solution that works for me for more than a year - as this problem plagued me from 2011 and is the reason I went to 365, which worked great, for a while...

I wish I could offer some advice, but being a Windows deserter, my Mac knowledge is at 101.

Hope you find a solution and wish me luck that this fix sticks past the two days it has been running.

Airborne -- I'm in the same place as you.  I have already converted nearly every PC in my company to Mac  hardware.  Now, I'm trying to replace MS software, but it's proving a little more difficult than the hardware.

If you know of a resource where other like-minded switchers are finding support and collaborating on best practices, please let me (and I'm sure others on here) know about it.

This seemed so promising.  Didn't help.

I am not using the auto discover function with my account. I have a specific server address that works across all platforms. (including Mac Mail).

I did try the lock file for my account. Same old, same old.

Synced once then straight back to sync pending.  Not getting emails after the first 10-15 seconds.  Not getting any updates until I quit and restart then again, nothing after the first sync.

At this point I believe the error is intentionally ignored by Microsoft. Unfortunately for Microsoft I can directly affect over 150 MS office users and at this point have every intention of converting all computers and applications to Mac.

Windows 8.1 blows, office 365 is a straight up joke.

We are using Exchange 2010 hosted by appriver.   There is an option to upgrade to Exchange 2013 with appriver.

I was wondering if the sync pending issue is occurring with folks that are using Exchange 2013 - hoping that by moving from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013 might alleviate the sync pending issue.

I just reverted back to Mac 2011 and Apple Mail.

Since Microsoft hasn't got their thumb out of their means they frankly don't give a Sh!t.

I will be moving to non-microsoft app very soon!
