The only way to fix this is to reboot outlook. I end up doing this 10 time a day. Is there any fix?

Found a solution that seems to work for me.  I have Office for Mac 2011, version 14.4.6 and Yosemite 10.10.1 though I also experienced the "sync pending..." issue with Mavericks.  I found help in another forum that suggested creating a New Identity for the Microsoft Identity Database.  I found though that I simply needed to rebuild my Main Identity.  I did this yesterday and have had no "sync pending" hangs since then.  Here is the url to MS support for rebuilding your Main Identity.  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2360509

    Good Luck.

I have two accounts, one is Office365 and one is private. That private one has had those problems and it seems to be 14.3.181.4006 version.

Also on Office365 I have Online Archive and one Shared mailbox and those are different version compared to my main Office365 mailbox. Main mailbox version is 15.1.31.0 and Online Archive and Shared mailboxes are 15.1.26.3.

Outlook version is 15.3 (141024) and OSX Yosemite is 10.10.1.

All is still working after the reinstall :)

    Hello Sapaju,

Thanks fro sharing that. I have also gone through a complete reinstallation and the first day it worked again but then the dreadful "sync pending" message showed up again. I didn't reboot OS X though but I did kill the Outlook and Activation processes to get the reactivation process to work correctly.

Let us know how it goes after a week or so and if possible which version of Exchange is hosting your mailbox.

    Thanks!
