The only way to fix this is to reboot outlook. I end up doing this 10 time a day. Is there any fix?

This has been an ongoing issue (from Version 15.3 forward) - since my upgrade to Version 15.6 the sync pending for this folder issue has gotten much much worse.   Seems to be getting worse over time as today it was almost non-stop restarting Outlook to get new email.

What is the status of a fix for this by Microsoft?

Deleted the Exchange account and set up a new one, this sorted so far the "Sync pending for this folder" error.

Prior and after setting up new exchange account, I get massive amount of "Sync Errors".

Downloading, permission, calendar events, recurring and old ones

    2-3 error logs per minute

How can this problem be solved?

    On version 15.6

Just updated to Outlook 365. On my exchange account I keep getting "Sync pending for this folder" I have to quit and restart Outlook and my mails gets updated but just for a limited time, then status gets back to "Sync pending for this folder"

    How to downgrade to 2011?

Will all mails and "archives" be restored from 365 to 2011?

I have exactly the same problem. It appeared to start when I accepted the upgrade to Outlook 15.6. Have done a complete fresh install and still have the same issues.

Outlook 2013 works fine using VMWare.

Has anyone else linked the problem to the 15.6 update?
