So i got one of those emails from MS asking if my issue posted on a different thread had been resolved because they have not seen me post for a while.
Well NO it is NOT resolved. MS has NOT fixed the issue. The issue is NOT on MY end - it is a failure of MS programming. Outlook is not syncing more than a few seconds after the application is started.
I've wiped my hard drive and performed a complete reinstall of OS and 365. It does NOT work. In fact, this made the issue worse. Which leads me to believe the issue is with Yosemite compatibility (since there are no Maveric's OS files remaining),
It is not a "resuming from sleep" issue. It happens within seconds of booting and starting the outlook app.
After the full system refresh the issue got worse and it has nothing to do with sleeping.
It is not a compatibility issue with another program. This issue occurred with only the OS install and 365.
It is not a settings issue. It works for seconds then stops. These are the same setting for MAC and Windows. If it can and does sync when I first start the application then the settings are correct.
It is not a check box in the logging errors settings. This gets rid of the "sync pending" error message but is still does NOT sync.
The issue occurs when I'm hardwired from boot up or wireless from boot up.
The program sync just stops and does not restart syncing.
Apple mail and calendar are working with the same configuration and are a short term solution. APPLE PROGRAMS WORK.
And by the way, my 5 windows PC's running office 365 are not without their issues either.
