Still getting emails from blocked sender

I keep getting spam emails from the same senders even though I've already blocked their domains, as well as all of the other email addresses/domains that were found in the message sources.

  • WHY am I still receiving messages from domains that are blocked??
  • Why is there no option to simply block a sender's I.P. address?

All of the spam I receive comes from the same 3 or 4 I.P. addresses, but they have tons of domains at their disposal to spam people with.

I don't want to resort to creating a new 'rule' every time these idiots come up with a new domain to send their spam from. So before you suggest that I create a new rule for each and every one of these email addresses, my response to that is NO. I shouldn't have to. Aside from the fact that doing such a thing would be far too time-consuming, when I block someone, I expect my email provider to perform that function properly and without fail.

Sir, With all due respect all the individuals who are participating in this post are fully aware that Microsoft dropped support on Windows XP and Windows 8, in which was a mistake, as there are still many people who use those platforms and were left hanging. Yes, people are responding to this thread for over 3 years as they still are having problems and issues that shouldn't exist. There is no need or requirement to close this post as there are many people still having problems and issues with outlook.com. In my opinion Microsoft should grab the bull by the horns and take a seriously closer look at what they release into production. Recently Microsoft released a newer version of outlook.com and that is still loaded with problems and issues, plus the fact they took away some functionality that was working perfectly. I have been in the information technology business for 30 years and I was to release into production a product like this with so many problems and issues, I would be on a street corner in New York City panhandling money in a cup for a living. Sorry Microsoft, no cigar for the latest release of outlook.com. Perhaps in the future we will see a flawless production release. Let's not hold our breath...! P.S. Another new technical glitch, when you try to reply to these threads using the latest version of Google Chrome...you can't as the screen just freezes up. The only way I could reply to this thread was using Microsoft Edge. Go figure...

Do they arrive in the Inbox or the Junk Email folder? If the latter, then they are blocked, by Microsoft's definition.
