how do I add new contacts to the list in Outlook?

I get the same email every day for over a month and I want to unsubscribe and I can't find a link.

There is no Arrow to the right or anywhere else to  hover over or push to add a new contace???

That choice is not there for me in Outlook.com.

I have recently been upgraded to Outlook from Hotmail. I have sent an email to a new contact and I want to add them to my contacts list. In Hotmail I just needed to click on 'add to contacts' but Outlook does not appear tp have this facility. Can anybody help?

In Outlook (windows 7) go into People and follow instructions from there.  I found it quite easy once I had read the instructions and managed to figure out what they were saying.  Good Luck

It's 2016 now! And things have not improved, and in fact seem to be a whole lot worse than they were when this very right-on complaint was so astutely made. Wow! It's 2016 and six months ago I had an Outlook program that would let me add a new email contact with a click or two. Then I got the new computer with Windows 2016 and Microsoft Home and Office 2016. And now I have to go searching around the internet to figure out what crazy convoluted maze Microsoft has created to "help" me add a simple little contact to my address book.

  There isn't even a hint anywhere in the address book menu to let you in on the big secret about where the adding a contact program is hiding. And so far I haven't found the answer in the forums. Just getting started, though. so maybe in another hour of wasted time I will find the secret twisted path to the magic button.

   Totally beyond ludicrous!!!! The geeks that make up all this stuff must be having quite a good time impressing themselves with their ability to make sure nothing is intuitive any more and wastes as much consumer time as possible.  Is it fun to make sure that the people you are supposedly serving are as frustrated as possible? Maybe it's a power thing. Go figure.
