how do I add new contacts to the list in Outlook?

I have recently been upgraded to Outlook from Hotmail. I have sent an email to a new contact and I want to add them to my contacts list. In Hotmail I just needed to click on 'add to contacts' but Outlook does not appear tp have this facility. Can anybody help?

    This is almost the only problem in 10...I don't use any aplle products but using windows from version 3 and I think this is best windows ever

    I can not find a way to add a new contact to my address book,

    I have had a computer for 18 years, this experience with outlook, and word is an absolute night mare.

    Previously had windows 7, windows live mail, it was user friendly, simple, this windows ten and outlook mail makes me feel like this is the first time I have tried to use a computer.

    Sorry I feel this way, but this has taken all the joy out of this new computer. I prefer using my IPad.

    Also, at the top of this page it says Reply, beneath that is a box with Reply with quote, what does that mean?

    This EXACTLY mirrors my experiences when upgraded to the-so-much- hyped marvels of WINDOWS 10.

    UTTER RUBBISH !!  Give me Good old Windows 7.

    All I want is a SIMPLE COMPUTER to enable me to keep in touch with my friends and 'search' the Internet, NOT a High Tech machine that could probably tie my shoe laces IF I WAS CLEVER ENOUGH TO PROGRMME

    IT.      If someone would market such a straightforward thing, they would make  fortune.

    Even when I 'ASK CORTANA' she can't give me a straightforward answer. (I haven't heard any of her jokes yet. Windows 10 is probably the biggest one !!!!}
