birthday dates move forward one day when entered in outlook.com but synced to mobile (British summer time)

I have worked out that if I correct the birthday dates and anniversary dates either on Outlook.com, Outlook 2010(with outlook connector) or Live mail the following happens.

When synced to my HTC Titan the anniversary dates remain correct, but all of the birthday dates in the "birthday field" on the phone that fall during British summer time (GMT+1)between the 25th of march and 28th of October move forward 1 day? However the birthday dates that are added to the "birthday calendar" remain correct? .

This problem does not affect dates in the Anniversay field only the birthdays!

If I correct the birthday field on  my titan for any of the dates that have moved forward one day then when I check back to Outlook.com, Outlook 2010 or Live mail the birthday has moved back one day from the original date!

I do not believe it is a fault with the Titan software, it appears to be with the server setting for birthdays that fall between the daylight saving times in the server.

If I add a test contact to outlook.com with a birthday and anniversary of 24th March 2001 then both dates sync to titan with correct dates, but if I change both dates in outlook.com to the 25/03/2001 then the birthday field on the phone changes to 26/03/2001 but the anniversary field stays at the 24/03/2001. This remains true for every date up till 28/10/2001 when both times become the same again with no offset.

I have checked every time zone and location setting in Outlook.com, PC and my titan and they are all United Kingdom, GMT London etc.

EDIT, Things get worse!

I have just installed Office 365 on my laptop and if i add a birth dat of 09/07/1970 to one of my contacts using the drop down calendar as soon as I save the change Outlook 2013 updates the date to 08/0701970? Outlook 2013 actually takes a day off the correct date which is then reflected in Outlook.com, Live mail etc.

This has got to be a problem with the database on the server!

    Oh dear god, it's one of those issues.

    And here I was, thinking I'd have a professional solution for contacts mail and calendar if I use outlook.com. I guess I was wrong and seeing the time this issue persisted so far, I think it's time to move away from outlook for contacts. And if the contacts aren't there, mail and calendar follow.

    Sad how "small" stuff like this is actually wrecking ms-office as a solution. I can't afford to miss important birthdays, be it wife or VIPs.

    Dear Michelle Anne D.,

    The problem persists indefinitely.  I have started a process to review birth dates for nieces and nephews in my Outlook that is synced to my iPhone.  For each year since I have entered the birth date, the date has moved backward one day.   For those that I corrected, they may be right on or one day late.  For those I have assumed were correct, they are at least three days off.

    Is there an expected time when this problem will be resolved?

    Same here.

    Any also some contacts get duplicated sometimes, but not with the complete same info.

    => Hard to figure out which one to delete.

    Please! These problems are long runners. Fix em!

    iOS-12 contacts.  I have the exactly the same problem.  Except it also shifts my anniversary dates by the same about.  I have over 900 contacts in office 365, most have birthdays and anniversary dates entered.  Now from my phone I can't trust any of them.  Thank goodness they have not changed in my 365 account.

    This issue goes back years, please someone listen to the consumer and resolve this.

    An update to this issue would be nice. The real issue I have is if you update the contact on your mobile device, it updates the contact with the wrong (+1 day) birthday then when you save the changes not only is the birthday now wrong in exchange but it is now +2 days off on your mobile device. This will continue to “walk” the birthday forward every time you make ANY changes to the contact on a mobile device. 

    Exactly the same with me. The more you are trying to correct. The messier the calender gets. My friends having birthday every day until I stop correcting it. 

    Cannot belive nobody cares. I know a couple of people who are having this issue. All of them kind of have accepted this as something to live with and do not not expect this to change... WHY??? help!!!
