birthday dates move forward one day when entered in outlook.com but synced to mobile (British summer time)

I have worked out that if I correct the birthday dates and anniversary dates either on Outlook.com, Outlook 2010(with outlook connector) or Live mail the following happens.

When synced to my HTC Titan the anniversary dates remain correct, but all of the birthday dates in the "birthday field" on the phone that fall during British summer time (GMT+1)between the 25th of march and 28th of October move forward 1 day? However the birthday dates that are added to the "birthday calendar" remain correct? .

This problem does not affect dates in the Anniversay field only the birthdays!

If I correct the birthday field on  my titan for any of the dates that have moved forward one day then when I check back to Outlook.com, Outlook 2010 or Live mail the birthday has moved back one day from the original date!

I do not believe it is a fault with the Titan software, it appears to be with the server setting for birthdays that fall between the daylight saving times in the server.

If I add a test contact to outlook.com with a birthday and anniversary of 24th March 2001 then both dates sync to titan with correct dates, but if I change both dates in outlook.com to the 25/03/2001 then the birthday field on the phone changes to 26/03/2001 but the anniversary field stays at the 24/03/2001. This remains true for every date up till 28/10/2001 when both times become the same again with no offset.

I have checked every time zone and location setting in Outlook.com, PC and my titan and they are all United Kingdom, GMT London etc.

EDIT, Things get worse!

I have just installed Office 365 on my laptop and if i add a birth dat of 09/07/1970 to one of my contacts using the drop down calendar as soon as I save the change Outlook 2013 updates the date to 08/0701970? Outlook 2013 actually takes a day off the correct date which is then reflected in Outlook.com, Live mail etc.

This has got to be a problem with the database on the server!

    Hi JohanPerssonSX,

    I apologize, but we have not heard any update as to when Microsoft will release a new layout for the calendar. With regard to your concern about the incorrect birthdate of one of your contacts, I advise that you remove her birthdate both from your iPhone's contact information and Outlook, then re-add it to see if the issue will be corrected.

    If not, kindly reply to this thread and provide us the exact steps you did upon removing/re-adding it to your account.

    New problems.

    Last Friday I received a reminder on my iPhone that a friend had her birthday the following day, December 1.

    The problem is that her birthday is December 30. So a month later.

    So I really do not know why my iPhone reminds me a whole month early.

    Both my iPhone and on outlook.com says that her birthday is 30 december which of course is correct. Both in calander and in contact information.

    PS. When are you planning to release the new calendar to the new outlook.com?

    I have an issue with any event that is an all day event not just birthdays. The all day event syncs as one day early on android. If I put a time however the event syncs to the right date. Also this only occurs from March 2013 to October 2013 and only started happening recently. Any day event created in the past has synced correctly even from March 2013 to October 2013.

    When I add an all day event from the android phone it syncs with outlook.com as a two day event.

    Please let me know what I can do to correct the issue. Timezones on phone and hotmail calendar are correct.

    Can confirm this has nothing to do with phones or user time zone settings. I deleted my birthday calendar at calendar.live.com, recreated it and all the birthdays on the web calendar at calendar.live.com and in Windows Live Mail client on my PC are now off by a day. All the birthdays for all the contacts on the web and in WLM are correct. Please provide an update on what is being done.

    Personally I think it has nothing to do with phones, but Outlook.com

    I copied my Contacts from my Outlook 2010 Data File to the Contacts of my Hotmail Account, all using Oultook 2010.

    Still with Outlook 2010.

    I view all the Contact info from the Outlook Data File and then view all the Contacts from the Hotmail Account Contacts. Everything (including birthdays) is correct.

    Now this is where it gets interesting....

    I do a Send/Receive in Outlook 2010, so all my Contacts are now uploaded to the Hotmail account.

    I go to Outlook.com to view the People section of my Hotmail account and it looks OK.

    But when I now view the same Hotmail Contact info at the same time via Outlook 2010, then birthdays have changed +/- one day and Anniversays are listed as none.

    I haven't even synced my phone yet!

    Simple question for Microsoft... why cant Outlook 2010 and Outlook.com communicate data correctly!
