Using older versions of Outlook for Mac in business environments
WOW: it actually WORKS! I asked the same question but couldn't get that user's answer to work after a while. Your's works perfectly!
Thanks so very, very much...

This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Outlook launches without a Home Screen.
Menu Items are accessible and function properly (i.e. compose and send email, access Accounts etc.).
However, Home Screen does not render and you cannot see (or access) Mailboxes, Calendar, Contacts etc.
Appreciate that this is an issue with Public Beta Version but Apple has now issued this to One Million Mac Users and plenty of Microsoft Users rely on Outlook for Mac so, will need to be resolved.

These may be because Apple comes with a default setting which hides some of the system files. For Mac you can usehttp://www.showhiddenfilesmac.com.
Herzlichen Dank an ShredderAK (29/7).
Nochmals herzlichen Dank an ShredderAK (29/7). Diesmal aus Deutschland.
ShredderAK,
Thanks for outlining these steps. They worked perfectly for me. Apparently I am not the norm because I don't reboot my system until I have an issue or a patch that requires it so this solution will work just fine for me and I really appreciate it.
For those of you looking for a more permanent solution, use the Feedback Assistant and have any of your friends/coworkers that may be on the beta do the same. You need to remember that we are working with BETA software so there will be issues with it and your feedback is how we will get those issues resolved!
G'Day, Mattical69.
Thanks for posting this helpful information.
In combination with the process outlined by ShredderAK (29/7), the UpDate seems to have solved my problem.
Outlook now seems quite stable. I am able to reboot and open Outlook with a Home Screen.
I had "abandoned" Outlook for Apple Mail but I'm happy to come back, if this solution proves reliable over time.
I hope others have also gained a benefit from this discussion.
Well done all contributors! :)
