How to find my email contact list at Outlook.com

Original title: Contact list.

If I need to email someone and they are not on my contact list how can I put them on, I cannot even get my email contact list, how can I get to it.

You don't have to include that someone to your contact list in order to email him/her.

You can just simply type the address into the To box.

If you do want to add that person to your contact list...............

To access your main contact list:

Open outlook.com > top left next to the logo Outlook, there is a down arrow > click the arrow > click People > All your contacts are now listed on the left. Scroll down to see each contact.

How to add a new contact to your Contact List :

at the same People window , toolbar at top, click New > fill in the required info > click Save when done > the new contact is now included in your contact list.

    You're assuming there is a "to" box.  Where is it?

    Windows 10 has also screwed me up with their email "help." I have an address book with Person X's name but when I go to put in  Person  X's name, it says it isn't in my contact list.

    Please include what version of Windows is being used.   I am completely frustrated with WIN 10 as it corrupted a very workable Windows Live in WIN 7.
