Some sent emails are stuck in OUtbox of Outlook.com android mobile app

Hello,  it is now July 22nd 2016 and the same problem still exists. I didn't discover for weeks that emails  weren't sending from my new Galaxy A3 6 phone. Some Of my friends must think I'm quite rude! Deleting old Outbox messages Did not work, but thankfully Gmail does send. So now I will have to retrain myself to click on the Gmail tab on my phone, AS MICROSOFT ARE UNABLE TO FIX THIS GLITCH. 

WHY IS THERE A DELAY IN TYPING ON HERE? ?

I USED TO LOVE hotmail but Outlook is way too cumbersome and faulty.

I recently had success going into the settings and re-entering my outgoing email password. My password had changed and I had not considered updating it in the phone.

Really disappointing to see that YEARS later this is still an issue and given I just read through all the replies, work arounds, and last ditch attempts it's even worse to realize this is STILL going on.  SHAME on Android AND Microsoft for not working together to fix this EPIC problem by now even if it meant programmers starting from SCRATCH.

Again, having read this, I think I can add new layers to the problem as I believe one can't b!tch without providing new information or offering a solution.

I spent five years with my exchange server being hosted by GoDaddy and NEVER had this problem on SEVERAL Androids and various incarnations of their OS.  I also used the Android Microsoft Outlook app and NEVER had any trouble.  Only reason I went back to Android's native email app is that it had more features that Outlook didn't have "yet" per Microsoft.

I switched to hosting via Microsoft a few months ago and then this problem kept happening.  I work in travel so had started accepting that because of a bad wifi signal or roaming that's why my Outbox was acting up abroad.  It wasn't until I was home for a stretch and was furiously waiting for replies to emails that were never sent that this wasn't an international affair.

Troubleshooting THIS issue, the sending server seems to work EVENTUALLY and emails DO come in.  Given my experience with Exchange Servers, my only thought might be that at some point, GoDaddy noted to its patrons that different OS's of Android might require different servers addresses as there wasn't a one size fits all. 

Could that be the problem Microsoft?  Maybe one of your sending servers is too overloaded or not communicating properly with these devices? 

I have a family member who works in tech assist for Verizon and he said that this has come up for numerous callers.  Their party line is to blame Microsoft, Microsoft's is to blame Android.  Uninstalling and reinstalling is NOT a valid option if it's not permanent given the frequency this happens. 

Is it gonna take some News Exposure Expose to finally get this fixed and make it worth Corporate's visibility?  I am stunned that YEARS later this is still an issue.  Thank you for your time and consideration!

And, this fix doesn't actually work, the oldest email is exactly the email I want to send.  I've tried copying, forwarding, then deleting the oldest and it still doesn't work.   I'm sure MS blames Android, meanwhile nothing is done.

Copying text in outlook mobile is a pain as well, so simply copying and pasting doesn't really work for my needs either.  FIX IT
