sync outlook.com & outlook desktop application

i'm really loving outlook.com - jumped all in and moved everything over from gmail.

do you all have any plans to add some type of sync functionality between outlook.com and the outlook desktop application?  i manage my contacts through the outlook desktop application, and it's a bit of a pain to export contacts from outlook desktop application to a .csv, then import into outlook.com.  would sure be nice if there was a way to sync content to & from these two relatives, especially contacts & calendars.

    This didn't do anything.  I still can't sync the two.

    I have 2010 so this link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=24677 works with my version of office and connects the desktop version with outlook.com. 

    I am not too sure how the 2013 version works.  Have you already created an outlook.com account?  If you have, when you set up the desktop version, use the same log in as you used with your outlook.com account.  It might take a second for it to sync, but if you close out the desktop version and reopen it, it should work.  If not, try setting it up a different way, as an exchange account or pop, etc.  That might work.  I don't know for sure though, since like I said, I use 2010.

    All of the "help" Microsoft and others offered was BS and did not work. I am so happy I spent the $50 on CompanionLink and Deja Office.  Well worth it and it works terrifically! Don't waste your time with Connector or anything else Deja Office has beat; HANDS DOWN!!
