i'm really loving outlook.com - jumped all in and moved everything over from gmail.
do you all have any plans to add some type of sync functionality between outlook.com and the outlook desktop application? i manage my contacts through the outlook desktop application, and it's a bit of a pain to export contacts from outlook desktop application to a .csv, then import into outlook.com. would sure be nice if there was a way to sync content to & from these two relatives, especially contacts & calendars.

Remember, though, that the Outlook Connector works only with Outlook 2010 or earlier. It can't be used with Outlook 2013 or 2016 and it doesn't need to be. Moreover, if your Outlook.com account has been moved to the Outlook Mail Preview platform, you also don't need it because you can use an Exchange account.

I have 2013.
So, based on that, you can read in earlier posts that the Outlook Connector doesn't apply. Outlook 2013 can connect natively with Outlook.com. Just enter your Outlook.com username and password (or an app password if you have two-step verification enabled) when you create the account and allow Outlook 2013 to configure it automatically.
