sync outlook.com & outlook desktop application

i'm really loving outlook.com - jumped all in and moved everything over from gmail.

do you all have any plans to add some type of sync functionality between outlook.com and the outlook desktop application?  i manage my contacts through the outlook desktop application, and it's a bit of a pain to export contacts from outlook desktop application to a .csv, then import into outlook.com.  would sure be nice if there was a way to sync content to & from these two relatives, especially contacts & calendars.

    so do you have your contacts in Microsoft outlook on your computer that came from gmail contacts or vice versa?   I would like to keep all my contacts in Microsoft outlook on my computer and use a gmail account in Microsoft Outlook on my computer and sync to my Windows Nokia Lumia Phone 925.   Any ideas?

    We respect your decision switching to other email provider (Gmail). If still want to add your third party accounts in Outlook.com, you can refer to this article below.

     

    Set up your Gmail, Yahoo!, POP, or Microsoft email accounts in Outlook.com

    We need to fix your issue first about signing in to your email account so that we are good to go to access your alias in Outlook.com.
