I've lost ALL of my contacts in Outlook.

Just noticed a day or so ago that I've lost all of my contacts/People in Outlook (I did not physically deleted them by mistake).  The Help window says to go to the People page, then in the menu bar click Manage, then click Restore Deleted Contacts.  Unfortunately, when I go into the People page, there is no MENU bar - nothing (except the funny wheel which directs me to the Help page).

To be exact, Microsoft Outlook Moderators, you "restored" only 2 of the 3 I SENT YOU!!  Couldn't even restore the third I sent in??  That's on two of my accounts.

On the third account, they restored 17 (or approx. 50, I'm guessing because, well, I can't count them because they're LOST!!) and 3 of those I sent them, about 10 were old ones.  My husband got about 70,however, more than 1/2 of those I know are ones that have emailed SINCE this began, so they're just copies of what's in the box ALREADY!!

I am just completely sick of this fiasco....  If someone can restore PART of them in 4 DAYS on the other thread, then someone HERE can get them all and get in right in LESS THAN 4 WEEKS!

Well, on another thread someone "restored" my "deleted" contacts... Oh, wait, NO!  They told me about the ones I told THEM about!  My goodness, gracious, how stupid can you people act??  Or how stupid do you think WE are????

I want ALL of my contacts back, not just the ones I deleted a long time ago, and the ones I told YOU about!!  UGH, Double UGH!!!

Please, for crying outloud, get it right!!!!!   You got MORE of my husband's than mine and MY accounts are the ones I FIRST complained about!  Good grief, this just sssss.............tinks!

    Sharisa,

If it comes to that, I will let you know!  I've searched all over the internet for this story and it is non-existent on MSN and CNN (except one iReporter blurb.)  Funny that no one seems to have picked up on this story.  Maybe large businesses weren't effected?  Or they're affiliated?  Who knows.

Anyway, I noticed on another thread they're still replying with the:  'We're sorry.  We need to investigate the cause of this and need your effected emails, etc..... We're trying to determine the cause...' line.  This has been going on since at least April (see the first entry on this thread) - and they still rolled out this forced update / change to Outlook, knowing full well there was a problem.  Irresponsible at best.

    I'll keep in touch here.
