I've lost ALL of my contacts in Outlook.

Just noticed a day or so ago that I've lost all of my contacts/People in Outlook (I did not physically deleted them by mistake).  The Help window says to go to the People page, then in the menu bar click Manage, then click Restore Deleted Contacts.  Unfortunately, when I go into the People page, there is no MENU bar - nothing (except the funny wheel which directs me to the Help page).

    The last request to me in private message FAILED to send to you.  Now I'm locked out of replying privately.  What do I do now?  

    This whole system just is ludicrous!!  I want this fixed now!

    Welcome to Microsoft Community. I'm glad to assist you on your concern with regards to the recovery of your contacts.

    To recover your deleted contact, please follow the steps below:

    1. Go to http://people.live.com and sign-in using your Microsoft account
    2. On the People page, go to Manage and choose Restore deleted contacts.
    3. Tick the boxes next to the contacts that you want to restore or tick Select all if you want all your deleted contacts to be restored.
    4. Click Restore.

    If this procedure does not work, please provide us with your email address on the private message that I have initiated. To view the private message, log in first to the Microsoft Community, go to this thread and click the "You have a private reply to this message" link above your post.

    DITTO!!!!!!!!!!  Everything she said - same here!  NOTHING brings them back.  And this fall ALL THREE of my accounts.  On ANY computer, with ANY operating system.  The only place I have any of them is in my android google account backup for Samsung!  But Outlook doesn't seem to want to talk to my phone account.

    I asking as politely as I know how:  "Please, ever so kindly, would you find and restore my contacts ASAP!!!????"

    BTW, I gave Outlook a ZERO rating on ALL points.  Hate it.  Period.  Ugly.  Doesn't work.  Few options.  Hard to figure out (comparatively). And steals contacts!!  You can have it.  If Outlook / MSN / Whoever cannot restore these contacts to ALL THREE accounts ASAP, I'm jumping off the bandwagon and going elsehwere.

    BTW, you didn't do this to my husband - and we use the same computer, so don't blame the browser type or anything else PC-related.

    UGH!!!!!
