That would be on the Peoples page,
Once on it,
On the top left Under the People listing All "V" the "V" is click-able,
It might say Available or Favorites,
Click on the Email address (Not the Box) on the left side of the Contacts listing,
Once you do Add + and Edit are listed on the top.

I am sorry for the late reply. As per issue posted, you wanted to add a contact from a viewed message from them using the link "Add to Contacts". I pulled up my account and view a message from a sender that is not included in contacts list. On the header of the email, besides the sender's name is the link labeled "Add to contacts". Can you please check if your account has the same format as mine? I think from there you can add the sender's email address to your contacts list.

Once you sign in outlook.com, you will see the People App when you click on the App Launcher on the upper left Corner of the Outlook.com page.

I've been utterly amazed for years how little common sense microsoft has. There are tens of thousands of people working for microsoft, yet until today, april 2015, THEY HAVE NOT MANAGED TO IMPLEMENT A SIMPLE WAY TO ADD A CONTACT TO ONE'S OUTLOOK.COM'S CONTACTS LIST.
HOW AMAZING IS THAT?
It used to be, in times when developpers still had to have common sense, that you'd either right click on an email address or highlight it and then "add to contacts".
But no, the nobelprize winning brains at microsoft found that too simple. So they huddled and after months of brainstorming found a way of making it more complicated. In fact, so complicated you had to have a job with microsoft's middle management to figure it out.
How do you figure it out if you are on that level? You get a huge print notebook where all this stuff is listed under "how to go on users nerves and despite any practical skill whatsoever still be overpaid ".

Despite anything said in msn's update mail there is no bloody way to unsubscribe from updates to this thread - I'm doomed
erm, update about stopping updates: in order to unsubscribe from the updates you do NOT go to the orginal message, regardless of what msn says. Instead you follow the link "update your email settings" in the update message and there you can unsubscribe.
