Google chat not working in Outlook.com

Hello!

In the messaging pane in Outlook.com, at the bottom it gave me option "Add people to chat with" and mentioned "Google contacts" below it. I clicked on it, and approved the permission Outlook.com required. It sent me an email that the connection was successful. However, I'm not seeing my Google contacts in Outlook.com, instead it's still giving me the same option "Add people to chat with" and "Google contacts" is still in the list. At the bottom of the pane, I see "Connected to" and there are icons for Windows Live Messenger and Facebook only, not Google.

When I goto people.live.com, at top-right of the screen It says "Connected to" and shows icon of Google also, along with Windows Live Messenger and Facebook. But still in the messaging pane, there is no Google icon.

When I click on the gear icon in People, I can see "Google" in the "Filter all contacts" list, but when I uncheck others and keep only Google checked, there are no contacts appearing.

When I click on my name at top-right in the menu bar, there is no option of Google chat in "Available on > ", only Facebook chat On/Off is visible.

I have tried using different web browsers, and also removed the Google connection from Outlook.com, revoking the access from Google, and reestablished everything from a scratch, the scenario is still the same.

Please solve my issue asap!

Thank you!

    Hello!

Thank you for replying. I began to give up my hopes that my issue(s) is/are going to get solved anytime soon. I've also already started a thread with my Skype problem:

    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/forum/mail-im/skype-chat-working-only-in-skydrivecom/caf54d4f-a285-495c-8cf1-ec32cfd02fa3

But it seems Microsoft Support, once very responsible and reliable, is now starting to take their users for granted these days. I never thought I'd be saying this for the company I've stayed loyal to for over a decade, but I'm really not happy or satisfied at all these days. Recently, I've posted issues regarding closed account's calendar notifications, TSV single-use code problem, Google Chat, Skype chat, etc., but none of my issues got solved, or had proper response in time, or sometimes, any response at all! Some of the old issues are still lying dead waiting to receive a response.

Every time a moderator replies, there is an apology statement. But that's all to it. I totally understand that in this particular issue, Forum Moderators are themselves waiting for response from Support Specialist. But to users, you all are part of the same Microsoft family. Any carelessness from one team or another is on the name Microsoft. And at least the issues not escalated to Support Specialist, they are responsibilities of Forum Moderators, which is not being taken care of as well.

For the Skype issue hyperlinked, access to my account is required. First they delayed answering my questions regarding taking over the access (again with apology statement). And then when I had the perfect duration when I wouldn't be having access to internet, and granted the moderators permission to access it, there is again no solution or any reply at all...and that duration has now elapsed. Taking over my account now will have adverse effects on my other tasks.

Seriously, please give priority to issues that are being discussed with user for quite some time, as the user gets frustrated when it takes so long to get a little thing solved.

    Hello!

Is my issue still under consideration? It has been half a month now and I haven't received any reply or solution.

I'm facing other issues in web messenger as well (such as Skype connecting only in SkyDrive.com, and the chat history not appearing in messaging pane of Outlook.com & People's page). I am waiting for my Google chat issue to get solved first so I can report these, as I suspect that these could be temporary problems occurring in my account due to debugging by Support Specialist team.
