Removing Google contacts from outlook.com people

Hi,

I need to remove contacts of gmail from outlook.com people. I have posted this problem in this thread

and I was asked by Forum moderators Alden D. and John Paul M. to create a new thread so that a moderator can properly address to me. Now I am waiting for a moderator to address to me.

The problem I am facing is I am unable to remove gmail contacts from outlook.com account. Many people seems to have the same problem

    This kind of response is unacceptable.  "...may not be applicable..."  Well, is it or isn't it?  You should know.

    You just have people creating new threads with the same problem all over the place, which conveniently means you don't have to actually address it anywhere.  It just starts the cycle all over again with a Microsoft employee asking "Can you please provide the specific error message you are getting?"

    Then, instead of one continuous thread where people can see the progression of solutions, you have a dozen incomplete threads that are going to come up when a user searches the forums. If we are lucky some kind soul might go to one of those and point people back to this so we can have some shred of usefulness.

    Your comment should have been something along the lines of "I'm sorry this problem has not been fixed in 4 years. Here are the current work-arounds."

    Didn't work instantly . As you said if the contacts don' get deleted automatically after 24hrs then what to do then?

    Do you have a solution then ? 

    Can this work?

    I delete my account and data completely and then recover my id after some day . Will data still be there .

    I would not try deleting your account.  There is no certainty it can be recovered.  Even if it was, there is no way of knowing what else might go wrong.

    I was able to go into my Outlook Desktop today and delete my empty Google Email Folder

    Just to confirm, you used the full Outlook application ("Desktop App") to do this, correct?

    i have done all the steps accordingly. but still google concats are apearing in people. how should i remove those contacts when i already removed the outlook.com connection with google. please help.

    Hi,

    I am having similar problem.

    Even though I've disconnected my google account, Google contacts are still linked to my Hotmail contacts. and can't be unlinked.

    And I can't event add new connection, just getting error:

    Please help me to fix this.
