Removing Google contacts from outlook.com people

Hi,

I need to remove contacts of gmail from outlook.com people. I have posted this problem in this thread

and I was asked by Forum moderators Alden D. and John Paul M. to create a new thread so that a moderator can properly address to me. Now I am waiting for a moderator to address to me.

The problem I am facing is I am unable to remove gmail contacts from outlook.com account. Many people seems to have the same problem

    OMG, this worked. You are the king! Also, you can delete some contact folders by clicking on "Manage Contacts Folders" and use "Delete Folder" option at bottom. Nevertheless I could not delete LinkedIn, Twitter, Skype and Google folders, but I could other old ones.

    Awesome feature.

    Yep, I had same issue with folders, I tried too, but if they are 'grayed out', I couldn't delete. Wait a couple of days, we should have the answer. MS has been real good about getting back to me.

    OK, Microsoft called back yesterday and advised the unwanted folder removal will happen soon ( week to a month) and will be automatic with and outlook.com server upgrade.

    Very please with their response and help on this issue.

    I also removed the linked Google account more than a week ago, and I have been unable to remove Google contacts from Outlook. The delete button is not displaying. When I use the delete key on my keyboard, I get the message that this contact cannot be deleted.
