Removing Google contacts from outlook.com people

Hi,

I need to remove contacts of gmail from outlook.com people. I have posted this problem in this thread

and I was asked by Forum moderators Alden D. and John Paul M. to create a new thread so that a moderator can properly address to me. Now I am waiting for a moderator to address to me.

The problem I am facing is I am unable to remove gmail contacts from outlook.com account. Many people seems to have the same problem

    This does not work for me.  I couldn't get beyond Item 2 in the first list.  Under Reading emails there is no Third-party content.  Have things changed since you wrote this?  How does one achieve it now?   I am stuck with a load of out-of-date Google "Social Contacts" which I cannot remove.

    I'm trying to remove my gmail contacts from outlook.com. 

    I deleted my gmail contacts (after backing them up by exporting them), but they are still showing up in my outlook.com people area.

    Please help--I have duplicates all over the place.

    Would have been simpler if you had posted the solution to this problem as it appears I'm not the only one who is trying to resolve this.

    I removed all connections, doing what was said here (Manage your accounts" says "You haven't added any accounts yet").  The gmail contacts are still in my Outlook People, and Outlook still won't let me delete any of them because they came from Gmail.  ????
