Removing Google contacts from outlook.com people

Hi,

I need to remove contacts of gmail from outlook.com people. I have posted this problem in this thread

and I was asked by Forum moderators Alden D. and John Paul M. to create a new thread so that a moderator can properly address to me. Now I am waiting for a moderator to address to me.

The problem I am facing is I am unable to remove gmail contacts from outlook.com account. Many people seems to have the same problem

    This is so frustrating it's even boring...

    After many months leaving Microsoft enough time to solve the issue, it's seems they have chosen a different approach. I can't even connect my outlook.com account with Google anymore. I see LinkedIn, I see twitter... but Google is no longer there.

    So I guess this solves the problem...

    Sigh.

    Hi,

    I am having similar problem.

    Even though I've disconnected my google account, Google contacts are still linked to my Hotmail contacts. and can't be unlinked.

    And I can't event add new connection, just getting error:

    Please help me to fix this.

    i have done all the steps accordingly. but still google concats are apearing in people. how should i remove those contacts when i already removed the outlook.com connection with google. please help.

    I was able to go into my Outlook Desktop today and delete my empty Google Email Folder

     I hope you are still being notified about this thread...

    Just to confirm, you used the full Outlook application ("Desktop App") to do this, correct?

    Didn't work instantly . As you said if the contacts don' get deleted automatically after 24hrs then what to do then?

    Do you have a solution then ? 

    Can this work?

    I delete my account and data completely and then recover my id after some day . Will data still be there .

    Tell me what you think .

    I would not try deleting your account.  There is no certainty it can be recovered.  Even if it was, there is no way of knowing what else might go wrong.
