Cannot sync birthdays from people to calendar... Help!!
I have manually added birthdays to certain people in my Microsoft account ('@outlook.com')...
these birthdays are supposed to automatically sync to my Calendar once added to a contact...
t's been 48 hrs and the birthdays are not updating to the calendar...
I have also tried to delete the birthday calendar and add it back...
I have tried to re-edit the relevant contact to see if it will update to calendar, but that also doesn't work...
I have Nokia Windows Phone 8 and I am using the Microsoft account with the phone...
The contacts are syncing fine with the phone, but the birthday calendar can't update until this problem is resolved...
I desperately want to get all my contacts, birthdays, calendar entries synced
I have also tried to add a birthday in calendar for a contact name I already have in people this then creates a duplicate contact I then go to manage, clean up contacts this is then fine until about 24 hours later you then have duplicate birthdays
Please help!!!

thank you for your private message which I just replied to.
Regarding missing contacts in my birthday calendar: meanwhile 4 of the 5 missing (not shown) contacts I posted earlier here just re-appeared as if by an invisible hand, I didn't change anything. Unfortunately for the past, I would have missed them if I just had relied on the birthdays calendar.
For the month July I attached screenshots of my birthdays calendar and five currently missing (not shown) contacts with maintained date of birth *,*identified in a quick comparison with my Facebook birthdays calendar, state today, in reply to your private message.
Your support is highly appreciated. I'm curious about findings and results. In case further information is required, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thanks!

After my latest post that contacts birthday suddenly reappeared in my birthday calendar (while the ones missing I listet for last week don't). I didn't do any changes, as you can see, we're concerning a standalone Facebook contact.

That is exactly what happened to me. Birthdays in my birthday calendar missing ever since I got the phone, months ago, despite date of births being correctly listed in my contacts. Then suddenly all appeared with no obvious reason why. Calendar on my Nokia Lumia has been the most disappointing thing on my phone but unfortunately one of the things I rely on most on it.

In my case some of the birthdays dissapear and then appear again several times a week and I can't find any logic in it.
Looks like there is some sort of sync issues on the server side...
I am also waiting for the update from Microsoft on this issue. I hope to get it soon.
