Sync Outlook.com Task list to Android phone

I am using outlook.com for my web-based services.  I have an android phone (Motorola Droid Razr) on which I have installed the outlook.com app.  I have no issues with e-mail or calendar, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the outlook.com 'Tasks' on the phone. Does anyone know how to sync the task list to an android phone?

Just in case anyone else stumbles across this, as I did when trying to sync my outlook tasks to my android calendar... 

To accomplish this, set up your Outlook.com email address as a Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync account in your Android Phone (I have a Note 2).  Do this by going to Settings, Accounts, Add account.  Then, choose Microsoft ActiveSync account in the next step.  Add your Outlook.com address and Password as it walks you through the set-up process.  It will, by default, have you set up to sync, email, contacts and tasks.  When this is done,  go to the calendar app on your phone.  Your Outlook tasks should be there along with your calendar entries.

    Well - that answers my question - It seems that the only tasks that wind up on the monthly view are the ones with regular occurrence - I have one scheduled every Sunday that shows up in green. It would definitely be a smart idea to have the task view sync also. Makes all the sense in the world, so you can mark off your to-do list on the go. I don't know why that hasn't been made available. Just look at all the confusion it's caused here. I was surprised at how Google has consolidated the Android phone, but I don't want to be running from one account to another to check email, calendar, tasks, photos, etc. - so I configured Outlook.com to sync my 5 email accounts, etc.

    Seems I did see tasks below the monthly view on my phone, when I first set up the app. But it's a new phone, and I was just learning how to do things. Must have been a fantasy.

    Same question -- I think. I have a Galaxy 5 and although some of the tasks that I assign and receive on Outlook show up on my phone, these tasks are all contained within the general task folder on Outlook. However, none of the task subfolders that I have created or any of the tasks contained in the subfolders show up on my phone. Help??

    According to your post, the task is not syncing. In order for us to help you with your concern and for us to answer your question, we would like to ask you first some additional information to isolate the issue. Kindly answer the following questions:

    • What device are you using (e.g. Nokia, Samsung, etc.)?
    • Does the syncing issue only happen with specific task?
    • Does your Outlook.com Calendar syncing properly with your Android phone?
    • If you created a task via Outlook.com Webmail, are you able to view the task on your Android phone?

    Thank you for your reply.  I really would like to make this work and use Outlook 2013 tasks on my android phone.    

    I have the Surface Pro and Microsoft products just work the best.       

    I create an exchange active sync account on my phone and the tasks are syncing but where do they go?  

    It's not syncing the other lists I've created but only displaying "List 1".  But I can't find where these tasks that I'm creating are syncing to.     

    And when I go to outlook.com, then calender, then tasks, there is no "list 1" and the tasks I created from my Android phone.
