Sync Outlook.com Task list to Android phone

I am using outlook.com for my web-based services.  I have an android phone (Motorola Droid Razr) on which I have installed the outlook.com app.  I have no issues with e-mail or calendar, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the outlook.com 'Tasks' on the phone. Does anyone know how to sync the task list to an android phone?

Just in case anyone else stumbles across this, as I did when trying to sync my outlook tasks to my android calendar... 

To accomplish this, set up your Outlook.com email address as a Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync account in your Android Phone (I have a Note 2).  Do this by going to Settings, Accounts, Add account.  Then, choose Microsoft ActiveSync account in the next step.  Add your Outlook.com address and Password as it walks you through the set-up process.  It will, by default, have you set up to sync, email, contacts and tasks.  When this is done,  go to the calendar app on your phone.  Your Outlook tasks should be there along with your calendar entries.

    Hi Johayber T.

    You are indeed correct.  I use the calendar at http://calendar.live.com on my Windows 7 PC with IE10; at the upper right side of the screen is a 'View' menu.  In the drop-down box that results from clicking on "View:", the following choices are available: Month, Week, Day, Agenda, Task.  When I click on 'Task', the screen includes 'Active' tasks and 'Completed' tasks.  By clicking on individual tasks, I can enter due dates and other details.

    These are the tasks and details that I can't figure out how to view (or sync) on my Android phone.  I have installed and am using the outlook.com app for mail, and am syncing the calendar to the phone's calendar app.

    The phone also includes a 'tasks' app, but there is no way to sync the tasks from my live.com calendar.

    Is there any way to sync these tasks to the phone?   Of course, I can view the tasks using the browser; however, this can be time consuming and requires reliable internet connection, which may not always be available.

    When you say that you are not able to figure out how to get the Outlook.com “tasks” on your phone, can you provide us more details about this? What are you pertaining to “Tasks”? - is it the tasks that you have created on your calendar via http://calendar.live.com?

    I reinstalled the outlook.com app and still can't figure out how to get the outlook.com Task List on my mobile device.

    Hi Kevin,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    Let me assist your concern about the task events not syncing on your mobile device. When you setup your Outlook.com app on the Outlook.com app, it should sync your emails, contacts and calendar to your device. Initially, please remove and re-add your account to the Outlook.com app.

    Add Outlook.com to your Android phone
