Hi

Teams is almost killing my laptop. Here's an example:

Is there anything  can do to reduce Teams' memory usage?

Or do I just need to buy more memory?

Thanks!

How has this issue not yet been resolved. I love the concept of Teams but the execution has really been terrible.

"We're working on it" is a bs response from Msft. Should never have shipped in this state.

Just to join in, I guess 1400+ people with the same issue (publicly that is, many millions probably that say nothing) is not enough.

Besides all the resources hogging for a chat app, performance takes a dive consistently overtime, UI becomes unresponsive, there are some chat buttons that get spawned and unspawned, the 'new microsoft experience' can't join meetings, so on and so forth.

Looks to me that Teams is going the way of Skype?

I'm on the latest Microsoft Teams Mac version, it was actually ok until a couple of weeks ago.

Just telling that today is the second time I executed those steps in one year and this really give me a new breath to my teams.

    Thank you.

Still looks to be an issue , My CEO has just got the issue on his brand new surface book 3 with 32GB Ram and Teams has crippled his machine.
