This is such a joke. Teams is using 22.7 GB of ram and its not even open.
that's almost 3 times more ram than most people even have installed. impressive.

Hi
Teams is almost killing my laptop. Here's an example:
Is there anything can do to reduce Teams' memory usage?
Or do I just need to buy more memory?
Thanks!

Others would run a whole business on that amount of RAM. For sure my first Exchange 2000 Server had less.
They must have worked really hard to make that happen, considering how little Teams actually does. Total joke.
Its fine beginning " In Application Cache > Cache folder " but some of us are not Techy people . If you can point me to where to find 'application cache' I can go from there.
Like many others I find myself 'trapped' by MS and confronted by tech support people who cannot relate to the fact that I do not have their familiarity with MS systems and applications.
Perhaps MS should develop all its systems using standard available laptops and NOT the most up-to-date most powerful CPU , most memory I can get, versions. Then there may be a better appreciation of the difficulties individuals and small & medium sized businesses face with its products. I won't hold my breath.
In the meantime can someone please guide me to find 'application cache' so I can try and speed up my machine.
