Hi

Teams is almost killing my laptop. Here's an example:

Is there anything  can do to reduce Teams' memory usage?

Or do I just need to buy more memory?

Thanks!

Another day of 1gB + of memory being sucked up by Teams when idle, causing my already poorly put together Surface to slow down to a crawl.

My 16gB Surface craptop has basically turned into a war between Adobe and Teams bloat  - each fighting the other for more resources. Teams is really a disaster - over 1gb of memory when idle?????? At least I can disable most of the Adobe CC (creeping crud?) nonsense at start up, but there's no point in having Teams if I have to turn it off. How come other companies can build the same functionality without requiring a complete takeover of your computer? Msft needs to study how they do it, and figure out how to shut down everything that's not actually being used by the app and free up resources that aren't required.

how microsoft make billions of dollars every year yet cant figure out how to code a chat program that works still amazes me. Plus all the so called "tech support" which say the same bs over and over, delete the cache or reinstall is a JOKE!!!

Looks like everyone at microsoft is just plain incompetent. lol

I removed and reinstalled Teams on the advice of my IT folks.  It is still a memory hog, but no longer crippling my machine.
