Teams hogging memory, running slowly

Completely agree with Craig,

Sad after 25 years with MS that it's coming to this but embarrassing meeting with clients need to end.

We've tried all of these...

1. The web app is not a work around.   That is a silly suggestion.
2. Re-installing is not a solution either, been there, and done that.
3. Switching from Chrome to Edge - not a solution either.
4. Using external cameras - nope.
5. Trying all the recommendations in this string - none worked.
6. Replaced the Windows Surface device - not a solution either.

There is no work-around, there is no current solution.

Unless you look outside of the M365 suite.  Given the lack of a static meeting links, and poor integration with other tools, this 1 issue has put this final option on the table.  Our organization is exploring next month the complete migration from M3655 to G-Suite, with g-meets.

Teams Web App is not a work around.   Now I suffer from  Edge  Consumption of memory at a greater rate than the teams app.

Get the code   working correctly not  providing work arounds!

No, so we're looking for a non-Msft solution as it seems Msft can't or won't address this. Teams is simply a copy of other company's  apps anyway and there are plenty to choose from.

I just had a quick look, but couldn't see in the comments, every time I click on a teams group , a new Microsoft Teams process is started and uses more and more memory, they don't end unless you quit out of teams.

Apart from going into task manager and ending some of the Microsoft Teams tasks when the computer runs slow / out of memory , has anyone found a work around?

Proof that Msft doesn't care.
