These steps actually increased Team's memory usage. Will try the web app or reinstalling.

Hi
Teams is almost killing my laptop. Here's an example:
Is there anything can do to reduce Teams' memory usage?
Or do I just need to buy more memory?
Thanks!

I have done everything you suggest and am still having serious problems. In fact, memory use is up 400 MB instead of reduced. Teams is now using an average of 3400 MB and causing my memory use to be up to 85% on my machine with 16GB of RAM. This is causing several apps to hang up.
If you have any form of an SSD, the best solution I've found is to increase the Pagefile size to avoid apps shutting down or worse, what I experienced, was complete system lockups on an 8 GM RAM Dell i5 "professional" tablet. Once I set Pagefile to 16 GB to force a permanent 24 GB RAM total instead of letting Windows manage my Pagefile, I haven't had any lockups or shutdowns.
Please forward it on to someone who can read! for everyone here reporting the same issue you can probably say that this will apply to the same amount of users in millions...

Thanks for making things worse. Beforehand Teams was consuming 650MB, after this "fix" it is now at 1.2 GB. Well done....
