Hi All,

Has anyone the knowledge how does the new outlook for windows handles pst files ? Is it storing e-mails in another PST file ? I have both the old and new running because of some missing features, however I like the new one a lot, however in case I return to the old one permanently I wanted to know where should I find the pst file from the new outlook.

Perhaps this is the 'local' storage:

    C:\Users<Username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Olk

I cannot find a local cache file.

Perhaps somebody else has an idea?

It uses Webview2 Storage Service, so I guess it must be somewhere in the User Data Folder.

    Thanks :)

I saw that, but this states "to use" cause in the old outlook we had been able to make backups, its still not answering where does the New Outlook stores the e-mails locally. I am sure those 2 apps don't use the same file as when I turn the old one on it downloads e-mails.

I would assume that the new Outlook is going with the MS idea of Cloud data:

Offline support No Yes Yes No*

but it loads stuff to quick, it has to store them somewhere even when Temporarily.
