Will Project Desktop be a real-time/online program in the future?

I like everything about Project Desktop, except that it is a Desktop program. I need to work with my team on tasks in real-time. That's why we can't use MS Project Desktop. Unfortunately, Project Online and Project for the web do not have the comprehensive tools Project Desktop has and therefore we also can't use this. We are now considering other software from another developer. Will there be a real-time/online program in the future which includes all features of Project Desktop?
