How to turn on auto capitals on the new desktop outlook?

I am using the new outlook desktop app and this no longer adds capitals to a sentence even tho everything is turned on. I believe I'm not the first to raise this. can this please be fixed or can i be pointed in the direction of how to correct this.

2023-06-29T12:30:42+00:00 Hello Calah, this is available in Settings. Go to the upper right gear (Settings), click on View All Outlook Settings, select Mail on the left and Message Handling. There you have the Mark as read options.
