I activated the Preview of the "New Outlook" and I like the ability to create Boards, BUT I am not able to use conditional formatting to organize the calendar as I used to do in the previous version. I found the setting for "Categories" but it does not seem to apply to the calendar, only to Mail. HELP!!

    Hello Janet Robles

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I understand that you have an issue in regard of enabling the conditional formatting for calendar to your New Outlook. Let’s work together in finding the best resolution to this issue.

For me to better understand the issue, I’d like to ask a few questions:

    • Are you using Microsoft 365 for Home or Business?
    • Just to confirm are you part of the Microsoft 365 Insider program?
    • Are you getting any error message?

I would like to give you more information about this problem. However, we may first have to wait for the above response to ensure that we understand your concern correctly and that we can provide the necessary information.

Thanks so much for following up!

    • Are you using Microsoft 365 for Home or Business? Business
    • Just to confirm are you part of the Microsoft 365 Insider program? Not sure.
    • Are you getting any error message? No error message, the "new outlook" does not have the option to use conditional formatting for the calendar.
