Try Office version 16.52

August 2nd, 2021, we released an Insider preview of Version 16.52 the August feature update for Office on Mac. 

Hallo,

Maybe my office 365 can be trial for this situation because I got the problem jus 1 week ago until now, my notes are:

  1. Everytime I use Word, if I standby my mac and continue to work again with word maybe about 8 hour after I break. The word it's seem much more memory about 9 GB, which is my Mac just 4 GB memory is weird, but when I try to close the dialog box Microsoft Error Reporting. For the record when I use excel, powerpoint this situation not happen, I mean normal. This error just for Word
  2. Maybe backgorun Process inside word, I don't know maybe this be the real problem, btw I just write in word just 3 pages

    The crash log suggests there is a problem with a picture inside the document. Are there any pictures in this file?

    Hallo

    I'm need to set language default after I write on Bahasa, so select all my writing and the set language to Indonesia.

    Also when I break a while for 8 hours after I write, I turn on my Mac then the word consume more memory is like 9 GB which is impossible, because My Mac just 4 GB

    Hi

    The Preview version is released one week before the "current channel" general release version. It's the same software as the upcoming general release.

    The Preview channel gives IT shops a chance to test the release for issues before deploying it to their organization.

    If Word is crashing, click the More Info button and then copy the first 50 to 60 lines of the report and paste that into a reply to your question here. Also describe what you were doing at the time of the crash. Thanks.
